Withernsea Beach, Withernsea
Ben | Feb 17, 2010 | Comments 0
Withernsea is an old seaside resort on the Yorkshire Coast with a newly rebuilt promenade, a famous lighthouse with museum and pier towers marking the spot of the 19th century pier. The beach is part of a strip of sand and shingle that stretches for miles in either direction.
There are plenty of cafes, fish and chip shops and local pubs to choose from. Public toilets, a slipway and a first aid centreare all available nearby.
Withernsea has Blue Flag waters, and are well worth a visit.
