The beach at Saltburn is a sand and shingle beach with a pier. A Victorian tram runs from the cliff to the promenade during the summer. Saltburn is a popular beach for surfing. Facilities include: toilets with disabled facilities, a cafe/restaurant, deckchair hire and a slipway. A range of activities can be undertaken from swimming to windsurfing, surfing to sea canoeing and jet skiing to bowling. There is both free and pay parking near the beach. There is parking available for disabled visitors.
