Flamborough South Landing, near Bridlington
Ben | Feb 16, 2010 | Comments 0
Flamborough South Landing faces south from Flamborough Head across the Bridlington Bay area on the Yorkshire Coast. This is the site of the new Lifeboat station, which moved from the North Landing, and is perhaps not as spectacular as North Landing, but with a better beach, which is wonderful for picnics. In addition to the beach itself, there is a circular nature trail walk around the top of the cliffs and the main cliff-top walk which takes you to the Lighthouse.
Facilities nearby include a cafe, restaurants and shops in the village. There is a first-aid post in the lifeboat house. Toilets (including disabled facilities) are also available.
