Travelling To Scarborough

By Road
When travelling to Scarborough by road, it can be accesed by four roads, the A615, A64, A170 and the A171. From the South, you can access the A615 or the A64. The A615 from Bridlington bringing you through Reighton, Filey & Osgodby. The A64 from Leeds / York, takes you through Malton, Heslerton and Willerby.
From the North, you can use the A171 from Whitby, passing through Hawkser, Fylingdales and Burniston.
From the West, you can access the A170 from Pickering, passing through Ebberston, Brompton and East Ayton.
By Bus
Scarborough doesn't have a Bus Station, which is suprising considering the size of the town and it's popularity. Buses will generally stop near the Train Station so this can be used as a good guide. Two main bus companies run services to Scarborough : Arriva North East and East Yorkshire Motor Services with minor services being run by Classic Buses/Moordale Coaches, Coastal & Country Coaches, Hunts Coaches, National Express, Northern Rail, Roaminey Travel, Shoreline Suncruisers, TransPennine Express and Yorkshire Coastliner. It may be wise to contact the bus company you are travelling with to confirm where they stop in Scarborough.
By Rail
Scarborough Train Station is situated on the Westborough road and is managed by Northern Rail. There is a ticket office which is open Monday to Saturday 6.15am to 8.00pm and on Sundays 8.45am to 8.00pm. There are Self service ticket machines or you can buy online at TheTrainLine.com
There is al carpark at the station, with space for approximately 84 cars. Charges apply to the carpark, £1.50 for 2 hours parking (prices subject to change)
